As a service to clients, US Biometrics maintains the most current version of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) database from the US Department of the Treasury. This list of terrorists, narcotics traffickers and others engaged in illegal activity, is continuously updated by the government as part of our nation’s foreign policy and national security goals.
The OFAC check is a feature of CheckQ, US Biometrics' check fraud prevention system. Since the CheckQ software is free, the OFAC feature can be used independently of CheckQ's check cashing features for a few cents per transaction.
