Primarily a software company, we have won awards, industry recognition, and a reputation of being the most versatile biometric company. We are a small company with a team atmosphere, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Naperville.

We have steadily been growing and currently we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team.

Technical Project Manager’s roles and responsibilities:

·         Design and Architect Windows and Web Enterprise Applications

·         Must be able to roll up their sleeves and code, this position requires at least 50% actual development.

·         Identify and analyze software requirements

·         Define and document project scope, requirements, and deliverables

·         Manage dependencies of vendors or outside consultants

·         Manage multiple projects with varying levels of responsibility with very strict deadlines

·         Oversee and drive the day to day tasks of the project team

·         Coordinates project schedules, timelines and milestones

·         Manage project risks and issues

·         Identify and resolve technical and non-technical problems quickly

·         Compile Project status reports

·         Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays

·         Organize and run meetings and demonstrations

Qualifications:

·         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Masters or MBA preferred)

·         5+ years managing enterprise level software projects

·         5+ years of software development experience in C++ and C#

·         Experience with leading a mixture of on and off site engineers

·         Experience with Agile software development methods.

·         Must be able to lead and motivate people.

·         Very well organized and handle stress well.

·         Track record of good judgment decisions.

·         Excellent communication skills, verbal and written are required.

·         Must be flexible and have a positive attitude.

·         Must be skilled with UML, MS Visio, MS Project and MS Office

Huge Plus: PMP Certified, ASP.NET, MS Project Server, SharePoint, Other Project Management tools, Banking experience
