US Biometrics Corporation Concludes Highly Successful 2006 Holiday Season Sales Campaign of “The Q”

Naperville, IL - For the second straight year, US Biometrics Corporation has consciously been targeting the residential computer user for the sale of its retail password management product – The Q.
Thousands of the units were sold in 2005 and 2006 because of two major factors:
1. The price of less than $50 makes the device and appropriate software affordable for the average computer user.
2. It solves a real and current problem that most residential pc users have - managing and remembering all of the passwords and user names one has for websites, pc logons, and software applications.
The marketing campaign has included multiple advertising means both on a local and national basis with the desire to appeal to the residential market and focusing on the challenges surrounding managing computer passwords and other pc credentials. Orders for The Q were received and managed both online as well as through a call center and encompassed revenue from 46 of the 50 US states as well as including a number of international sales.
“Our goal with The Q and its introduction to the market in 2005 had some very specific objectives,” states David Delgrosso, President of US Biometrics. “First, we wanted to explore another sales market other than our traditional commercial sector. Secondly, with the use of our biometric products increasing rapidly in the commercial marketplace, we wanted the opportunity to show residential customers how that technology could be applicable at home as well.”
